Partnering with the textile artisans of Como, Lupetta explores the potential of the time-honored tradition of weaving, interpreting designs in unique ways. The designer's inspiration is filtered through the creative lens of an Italian aesthetic, reinventing themes and motifs. The result is an eclectic mix of sophisticated and organic soft accessories.
The outstanding quality of each finished product is the result of a detailed production process. Lupetta applies progressive weaving techniques to precious fibers—rich silk, soft wool and lush cashmere—making each scarf deeply luxurious, and as much a treat for the skin as it is for the eye. Unparalleled craftsmanship, visionary motifs and quintessential Italian design merge to create the sensual experience that is the richly beautiful Lupetta collection.

Born to a family of Milanese artists, I worked for many years as a graphic designer at a major advertising firm in Milan. During this time I also built a roster of private clients, counting among them many renowned textile makers and artisans from the Como area.
I soon realized that sketching textile designs was more compelling than creating visuals for advertising. On one of my visits to the United States I had the good fortune to meet, and soon to work with, Nette Ornbak, a renowned Danish couturier and costume designer. Her creativity and exquisite use of fabrics and ornaments intensified my interest for fashion design, and my entry into the backstage of opera and ballet introduced me to a new world of visual elegance and light. In 2007 I launched Lupetta, a luxurious collection of Italian soft accessories. Once again I found myself working with the time-honored artisans of Como to produce my vision.
I now live and work in the natural beauty of Northern California, and travel to Italy frequently to supervise the development and production of my creations.
